About Vote Scott Lucas

As you know, I have always been a strong voice and ambassador for Fairview. It’s this same reason that I am now running for County Commissioner. I believe that the people of District 1, many times, feel like they are the outsiders & don’t have a voice in Williamson County. It’s past time for someone to speak out, despite “political fall out”, and to be the voice we all deserve. We deserve a commissioner who will not pander or play political theater to win votes, or even worse, not offend another commissioner. We deserve a voice of integrity, character & someone who is real, I am that voice!

I believe our county, and especially District 1, needs to focus & address 3 areas of concern…

1. Schools- Our schools have long been a backbone of Williamson County. The county has worked hard to make sure that our schools are supported. As we move forward, I want to be sure that Williamson County Schools continues to be a driving force to why people come to Williamson County. I will stand firm on my conservative values, believing that parents have the right to determine their kid's education.

2. Growth- As we are all too aware, the growth in Williamson County has really increased over the last several years. I believe we need to take our foot off the gas for a period, so that we are growing in a smart, safe & fair way for everyone in Williamson County.

3. Public Safety- As our county population grows, we need to make sure that we are investing heavily in our first responders. This includes police, fire, teachers, churches and other essential non-profits. We need to make sure that in times of disaster, those who are on the front lines can be effective in serving our community.

The only way we can tackle these issues is through honest talks, working with others and common-sense solutions. Doing the same thing we have done for the last 10 years will get us the same results. It’s time for a new voice; a voice we can all be proud of!

To serve the people of District 1, I must conduct an aggressive campaign, it will require a strong and organized grassroots effort. With social media, yard signs, door hangers, and volunteers to canvass neighborhoods or serve on voting day, I cannot do it all alone. That' a why I'm turning to the people who know me best and inviting you to get involved in my campaign and help make a difference.
